- 8 gene names (mKIAA numbers) were changed since they were revealed not in the orthologous relationships to the corresponding human KIAA genes.
- The clones for 2 mKIAA cDNAs (mKIAA0327, mKIAA0886) were replaced with the new representative ones and 5 mKIAA cDNAs were removed from the Rouge database, because they were shown to be the short forms of splicing variants of the present mKIAA cDNAs.

1 clone used only for generation of anti-mKIAA protein antibody was also added.

- Links to InGaP and Swiss-Prot were added from each Gene/Protein Characteristic Table, when these databases have the contents for the mKIAA/mFLJ cDNAs.
